Welcome to Cherrywood Acres Public School!

Cherrywood Acres Public School was originally built in 1964 with seven classrooms and a playroom. Just one year later, due to significant enrolment growth, plans were made to expand the school. In 1967, an addition consisting of seven more classrooms, a library, and another playroom was completed, doubling the school's original size.

The school's name reflects the history of the property, which was once a thriving cherry orchard. Rich in history and deeply connected to its community, Cherrywood Acres continues to provide a welcoming and engaging learning environment for students and families.

At present, Cherrywood Acres Public School serves approximately 330 students from Kindergarten to Grade 8, supported by a dedicated staff of 30 educators and support personnel.
